Abby
« on: April 27, 2019, 11:51:57 AM »
Abby has had a reoccurring tumour on her lip. She spent some time at Bristol University last month trying to find a way to treat it. Sadly they could not. It suddenly started to bleed and we could not stop it. We had no choice but to put her to sleep.

I'm totally heart broken. I haven't been active her for the last couple of years, but I'm so glad I was before. Looking back through her photo threads was a big comfort and she really did have a wonderful life.

I wanted to let you know as some people here may still remember us.

Oh Alison I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I remember Abby and you with great fondness from the busy days of the forum. The loss of these little ones leaves such a hole in our lives and hearts when they pass. I hope in time you are able to remember the happy times.

Alison, I know how hard losing a family member is.  Losing them suddenly like this just makes it more difficult.  Thinking of you.  Abby knew a wonderful life with you.

Alison, I don't know if you remember me, but you were very kind to me and encouraged me to join in on these boards, when I first got Rio.

I pop along here now and again, and I was so very sad to read that Abby has passed over. My heart breaks for you.  I always enjoyed reading of Abby's adventures, and seeing your wonderful photos.

It's so not easy losing the ones you love.

Take care
Sam
