Del, this would be a good link for our US members to use to find dog trainers.  Can we add it somewhere at the top of this page?  MaryEllen

http://www.apdt.com/petowners/ts/default.aspx

You must read the legal notice and check mark the box that you read it.  Then click either United States or International.  It takes you to a page where you put in your zip code and a list of trainers in your area comes up.

Thanks for sharing MaryEllen! thumbsup  Terri has stickied it for you, so now it'll always be at the top of the [Behavior & Training] board. thumbsup

I was thinking/wondering blush if you could also find/add links for other training-related activities Kicking like agility and (pet) therapy.  It will certainly help our members who are thinking of signing up courses graduate with their Bichons.  I would do it but seeing how I'm outside of the U.S., and you're involved in agility - not to mention well-read & well-informed regarding training issues - I thought you could help me develop this thread.  Latterly, we'll U.K.-centric links too for members over the pond.  What say you? original

Darn that link takes you to a page with an article, "how to pick a trainer" but THAT link does not work!  Shame on them!  I think they need Del or Terri on their web site!   wink1
