Hi my names Ricky, I'm new here I live in London England,44 years old married with 4 children,
Charlie is my bichon's name 8 months old I have had him since he was 11 weeks, he's had a really bad start in life and has many problems I fear. He's bounced from one illness to another and disaster seems to follow him around. He is much loved by all the family & extended family & friends. I'm over the moon to have found a place to share my thoughts and learn from others who may have gone through similar experiences, Charlie's life story is very long for a baby if anyone wants to hear more I'd be happy to share, Anway this little ball of fluff came into my life and I instantly fell head over heels in love with him, and wouldn't ever be without him and I've spent lots of hours researching and learning about this fantastic breed that I knew nothing about, My quest is to make sure Charlie has the best life ever with my lovely family. I'll leave you with a mental image that I never thought I would be discussing with lots of people from around the world. I'm 6' 4 shaved head 20 stone and look like James gandolfini aka Tony soprano . And I have my little ball of fluff by my side 24 hours a day and have never been happier than when I'm walking my boy in the park. Thanks for stopping by and taking Time to read Charlie & my introduction.  fluffnewhere Boy Bichon

Hi Ricky and Charlie! Welcome!  Welcome
I had to giggle at your description of yourself.  It reminded me of the day we got Belle. My husband is a bearded tall construction worker, who turns to mush at the sight of our little fluffy girl. Laughing  These little angels have a way of turning big strong men to marshmallow. (as it should be)

I look forward to seeing pictures and hearing more about both of you.  Bichons Rule

Hi Charlie and Ricky.  Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy it here.  I am Pam from the North East with Pepe (aged 15), Poppy (aged 13/14) and my baby Bengy (aged 11).  We love bichon stories!

PS hope you are staying dry and not blown away.  Not ideal bichon weather in the UK at the moment  Laughing.
