Thank you all for your best wishes.  As things have gone on we know we did the right thing in not waking her up from the anaesthetic but it doesn't make it any easier.  At the moment we are going through a series of firsts - you know what I mean - first trip out in the car without her type of thing, first walk in around our streets etc.  I don't think Pepe and Poppy have noticed  but poor Bengy is missing his play pal.  The routine was a bit of rough and tumble with Titch teasing him first thing in the morning.  He is - restless I suppose is the right word.  Just not quite himself.
And of course we have to collect her ashes this week which will be awful  Ah me.

What an experience!  We now have Titch's ashes sitting pride of place in our living room.  I am not experienced in this - but the Pet Crematorium have done it well.  Now we have to decide where we want to release them.  If we are not careful they will be remaining in our living room forever and that is not what was intended  sad.

There will come a time when looking at the ashes a smile will come across your face and then you'll know where to release them. You know your did the right thing and soon you will be able celebrate her life.  comfort Hugs to you and wee Bengy too.
