Every year for Christmas, PetsMart offers these 10 inch toys, Chance (dog ) and Lucky (cat).  They are about $8.99 and part of each sale goes toward their pet foundation to help local pet charities.

This year, seems they ordered way to many of the toys, lots are left over --- at least, at the store in Salem NH.  Now marked down to $1.97!  They have one squeaker in them.

I picked up one of each, for that price and size it is a good deal.  Thought I'd let everyone know.  No idea about the store near you, just thought I'd pass this along!

Here is Lucky: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=20719596&f=PAD%2FpsNotAvailInUS%2FNo

Here is Chance:  http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=20719586

wow $1.97!!

Got Chance at Petsmart (in Canada) last week for $3.97, great value but the ear fell off pretty much with just one firm pull. Bokie likes to rest her head on the toy's tummy. =)

I love these stuffed animals, so does Luigi he pulls them apart and takes out the stuffing!!!  frustrated
I bought them in 2010 and was too late in 2011, so in 2012 and 2013 I made sure I got them in early December! We still have one 2012 dog and the 2 from this past Christmas 2013, but Luigi is slowly digging a hole in his head. I like that the profits go to charity.

I have noticed that Petsmart's store sale prices are the same as advertised online [which is quite rare] - so if you see toys for less than 2$ online, chances are there is a bin at the front with lots of variety for the same price.
I loved stocking up on squeaky plushies after this holiday season. I picked up a fleecy bone at Walmart for less than 1$ today!

I got some great toys at Petsmart the other day while Toby got a pedicure.  Sale prices and he likes them better than all others.

That is great!  I much prefer PetsMart over PetCo.  Unfortunately, PetCo is about a mile from my house; PetsMart is a bit of a drive.

I am going to start doing that soon too since there are obviously some favorites in the bunch... now if I could just find a decent price on replacement squeakers!

Amazon has a pack of 20 medium sized for $7.99.  And if you have other stuff to buy, you can likely get up to the free shipping.

Here is a pack of 4 large ones for $1.64, but I did not look at their shipping fees.  http://www.doggy-gifts.com/servlet/the-3771/Kong-Replacement-Squeakers,-Large/Detail

You should also check on ebay.

I can get 6 small ones [made by Kong] for 2-3$ depending on sales on chewy.com or Jeffers Pet. When I went to Delaware for Thanksgiving, I bought out their supply of small squeakers on sale for 1.5$/pack of 6 - with no sales tax! - from a local chain.
I keep checking in craft stores, cause I know there has to be a box of 50 somewhere for less than 20$. I BELIEVE!
