I have a 5 month old male bichon.   My problem is he is not that interested in eating.  He does not like eating out of the dog bowl.  If I put the food directly on the floor he will sometimes eat.  He's not really interested in dog treats either.  Any Solutions?

Hi,
What food do you give your bichon?  Is it possible that he gets too many small feeds during the day so doesn't get the chance to build up an appetite?   :-/

Hi:  Concerning the fussy eater, we too had trouble with Lily eating her healthy, nutritious, dog food from her bowl. The vet said, "Do not give her anything".  That included treats, people food, little tidbits etc.  He said she will eat when she is hungry and she does.  It just happens all over again when we get side-tracked and conned into giving her little treats.  You just have to be dedicated .  The vet said if we want her to be healthy and live a long time, this is what we must do.  Hope this helps.
